The Tata Crucible Campus Quiz 2016 was a very well attended event. The Maharana Pratap Auditorium that normally remains empty during the corporate edition was more than half full. It is good to see the quizzing culture of Jaipur catching up with other cities.
As usual, there was a slight delay in starting. Instead of the scheduled 11:00 AM start, the prelims started at around 11:50. Giri was not dressed in his usual dark colored suit but in a loose kurta. He seems to have lost weight. Could be the Kurta. Seems like he is taking inspiration from Pornob, at least in the dressing department. Hopefully it stays in the dressing department only.
The questions in the prelims were however a little bit on the easier / tougher / moderate side. The current affairs was well covered / more or less ignored. He relied more on / less on the classic trivia than usual.
Given below are the questions.
